The CCMU's clays team specializes in the disciplines
of Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays. Members of the
clays team work closely with the TAMU Trap and
Skeet Club, and receive some of the finest training in
the nation.
Since the Marksmanship Unit was founded, members of the Shotgun Team have competed multiple times on the National Level and have had many unique opportunities to represent the Corps of Cadets. By maintaining close ties with the Texas 4-H Shooting Sports Program the team has been able to interact with shooters on the junior high and high school levels and further develop them in the sport.
